"I kept lobbying all week, but if the situation is right, then he'll come back. If not, so be it," Ward said. "I'm sure he'll make the right decision."

Bettis said he is 50-50 right now on whether or not he will come back and wants to spend some time with his family discussing his situation. He did say, though, that he doesn't think he will have the opportunity to return to play in the Pro Bowl again, after replacing Corey Dillon this year for his sixth career Pro Bowl.

"This is a special game for me because regardless if I play or not, I probably won't be back here," said Bettis. "These guys are the best guys in the world, that's significant. If it is (the last game), this is a great way to finish up."

Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets

The Pro Bowl definitely had a Steelers flavor with nine players and the entire coaching staff on hand this year. Those wearing black and gold helmets made quite the impact in the AFC's 38-27 victory over the NFC squad.

Wide receiver Hines Ward had three catches for 63 yards, including a 41-yard touchdown reception from Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, who was the game's MVP.

"He's one of the best in the business. There's a reason why he threw 49 touchdowns," said Ward, of Manning. "It's always great to catch [the ball] from a guy like him, especially in the Pro Bowl."

Ward also had an impact on special teams, returning an onside kick 39-yards for a touchdown. It was the first kickoff return for a touchdown in Pro Bowl history.

"I thought I was going to get hit hard on it," said Ward, "but [Green Bay's William] Henderson went for the ball, I jumped over him, caught it and tried to outrun everyone."

Linebacker Joey Porter had an interception and returned it 19 yards and also had a nice 29-yard return after Takeo Spikes tossed him the ball on another interception. Defensive end Aaron Smith added a sack. Season Holders' Steelers Tickets. Running back Jerome Bettis had five carries for 23 yards in the Pro Bowl and many are hoping that it wasn't his last game, including Ward.
